It is possible if you are somewhat comfortable on the PC keyboard. First of all, make sure OOTP4 is not running, back up the "colors.ini" file that is in the OOTP4 folder, and then open the file with windows notepad. To do this you should highlight the file (click on it once), press the SHIFT key, Right-Click on the file, choose "OPEN WITH", and then search for NOTEPAD from the available choices. Once the file is open you can replace the line that says 225,185,000 with 0,0,255 and save the file. Now when you open the game the tired players will be listed in blue instead of the light yellow color. Just overwrite this file with your backed up version of the file if you want to undo this change.

I just tested this now and it works well. It also seems fairly safe to do too as long as you always back up the original file. The game loads the 'colors.ini' info into memory when you start it up, so editing the 'colors.ini' file will have no effect until you close the game and restart it anyway, that is why I suggest you edit with the game off. Good luck!

Maybe some folks will create tested and safe versions of this 'colors.ini' file for public download yet. I realize many people would be uncomfortable editing these files on their own.

Cool. After further testing of this I realize now that the hard-to-see yellow color is also used on some other screens that have a dark background . That means this blue replacement color suggestion can be tough to see on some screens now. One example is the transactions page, 25 man roster number counter above the 25 man rosters column (example: "25/25"). Because of this I switched back to the original file. I think a different color, like a slightly darker yellow, would work better for both light and dark backgrounds.

What I did was change the Yellow: Tired to a light purple color. I then used a hex editor to change the word Yellow to Purple so it would display in the game. However Hex editing the EXE can be dangerous and anyone not familiar with hex editing should not even attempt it. The best would be if someone could create an editor where you could change the text colors and the name of the colors so it would display in the game. I don't program otherwise I would do it.
