TBC has two openings - the New York Yankees and Philadelphia Phillies.

Both have some upside - the Phils have the league's most potent offense and just added three promising young arms in the offseason. The Yanks have one of the game's top sluggers in Dolph Dietrich. While neither is ready to contend, a shrewd GM does have some blocks on which to build a champion.

And the Phillies play in the Baker Bowl. So if you like homeruns and stuff, well, that's the place for you.

I've been part of this league for a while now, and I cannot emphasize enough what a great commish we have. A very, very well run league. And if you appreciate the history of baseball, and you want to take part in generating a fictional version of that history, there is no better place.

Yep, good league and one of the best commissioners around. Joe's been running leagues and posting about dynasties for years.

Fictional players in real historical setting. Talents only makes it more of a challenge.

Thanks Michael & Tom for the promos. Both openings have been filled - we've actually had several more inquiries than we have openings. I will certainly let all those who inquired about any openings that may come up in the future.

Thanks to all those who checked out the league!

A very awesome league. Here's hoping the Phillies owner can do better then his predessors...or at least find some pitchers that dont' stink.

I'll vouch for Joe's leagues; one of my true regrets about my time in the online league community is that every time I get into a league run by Joe, real world issues have consistently forced me away. I ran Brooklyn in this league a long time ago, and I loved it; unfortunately, I was unable to stick with it. The same goes for the football league he runs.

Do yourself a favor and get involved. It will be an experience you'll never regret.
