FABL2: 1902 HOF Ballot -- Please Vote!

This is the 15th and final try for Deacon White, Doug Allison, Steve King, Gat Stires, Jimmy Wood, and George Bradley. All 6 will be removed from the ballot this time wether they make it or not.

This is also round 13 for Joe Battin.

11 very worthy players hung it up between the transition between 1901 and 1902, and many are considered locks.

Will Fabletown need to build a whole new wing in one season? Lets find out who can be added to the 36 who are there.

Hardie Henderson
Peek-a-boo Veach
Perry Werden (who threw a no-hitter against my Cubbies in the World Series one year)

I'm expecting to have to use 4 commissioner overrides.

I've left no secret of trying to help Battin's cause here.
There is only one other third baseman in the hall.
Only three HOF players have more career walks and only four have a higher OBP than Battin's .412. Battin did not have the longetivity of many of the other players in the Hall but there is no doubt he was one of the premier 3B in the league during his era with only Levi Meyerle and Decon White being close to Battin's caliber.

Battin might have his best chance with the six pack of other guys out of the way... he'll have 2 shots with a thinned out ballot.

If he doesn't make it, I can assure you he's a candidate for an override.

I've been a strong supporter of all of these guys, but it sure looks like there's no point in voting for Wood, King or Stires this time around. I'm amazed Wood hasn't gotten more support. I'll leave him on, since I have an extra spot.

Jimmy Wood
White
Battin
Foley
Getzien
Allison
Black
Browning
Henderson
Veach

And let me advertise for Charle Getzien. Compare him to HOFer Foghorn Bradley, and tell me Getzien isn't a hall of famer.

This certainly is the "promote your pick" ballot...

Gonna go ahead and ask for a LAST CALL.

If there is no more activity or no possibility of another vote swinging the voting, I'll close this round when I get in from work tonight.

What if you didn't vote for Foghorn Bradley?
