I just imported a historical league, and completed the season. But now, when I try and start a new career league neither the team names, or the player rosters are displayed.
When I imported the historical database, I saved it to a file seperate from the OOTP4 file. So I wouldn't imagine this to be the problem. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. |

I really don't know why this would happen if you are certain that the file was ok before you imported it. I have imported a number of seasons and have had no problems whatsoever. Are you certain first of all:
-That the league file was a valid, working file when you imported it. -That there were no problems that showed up on the screen during the process of importing.

Thanks.</strong><hr></blockquote> Bear with me if I have misunderstood this: This sounds like an improper league folder you are opening. The game will allow you to open a league folder that is missing many key files, and the game will display the league as having no teams or players. Are you able to open any other leagues properly? When you say "new career league" do you mean a new league based on the default "Career2002.lg" league, a new league based on your old historic league, or just a FILE --> CREATE NEW LEAGUE --> 2002 CAREER LEAGUE type of league? Sorry if that seems confusing, your post is a little vague and as much info as possible would be very helpful .Also when you say you imported a historical league do you mean you imported a historical OOTP3 league? If that is the case then you are right about it not mattering where the original historical database folder was, if no maybe this is related to the problem. Many things might have happened here depending on what you did: If you imported a historical season from the Lahman DB and set the original league to "Replay" mode then I think the game only allows you to play that seaons (no advancing the career). If you pressed FILE --> CREATE NEW LEAGUE --> 2002 CAREER LEAGUE to create a new league then there maybe files missing from the CREATE directory. Heh, let us know if any of that made sense, if no then feed us more info .

Thanks to everyone for your help. You were right it was an improper league folder, I don't know why I didn't catch that earlier.
