Revising Old Time Baseball Parks

I got to looking at the screen captures form the Old Time Baseball game (I believe Henry originally supplied them) and decided to try editing them to make them look a little more realistic. The aspect ratios had been changed to make them fit a 600 x 480 resolution so I stretched them out and recropped them. I also toned down the colors a little bit to make them look less cartoony and blurred the backgrounds some to give an impression of distance. I am posting an example of the Polo Grounds before the changes and after. I will add more revisions to this post as I make them.

These are incredible! Seeing them made me want to bring back another "old=time" "ballpark", so I created my own. Unbelievably, it only took me a couple of minutes to get just the right look!

LOL! I used to play that game on my Commadore 64 all of the time!!

That reminded me about the ones I used to play on my old C64 way back when... Star League Baseball and MicroLeague Baseball...:-) Now, ready for use in OOTP!!! lol

Old Time was my favourite baseball sim. If only OOTP could combine the best of Old Time with the best of OOTP.
