Disappearing Overall and Potential Ratings

This has happened to me twice now.. three or four years into my franchises. Why are the overalls disappearing? It just has a hyphen where overalls/potentials should be appearing.

Any tips? Not sure if it matters, but I got the game of Apple's Mac App Store.
Very frustrating.

Open any player profile and in the upper right hand corner of the profile you will see a drop down box called Ratings Scouted by ...

Set that to your scout. Only your own scout provides Overall and Potential ratings. There are a variety of reasons why that setting can get changed on its own, so you just need to remember to reset it back.

In the top box it says:

"Ratings Scouted by OSA- Published 01/01/2014" with no other available option.

All the ratings are there (Stuff, Movement, Control, Power, etc.) just NOT Overalls and Potentials.

Any help?

This sucks and has happened in both franchises I have played in. This really makes me regret buying this thing for $19.99.

My scouting director's contract ran up. I didn't have one hired.. My bad! Such a stupid error. Thanks for the help anyways.
