Message about other team's roster
I'm playing a historical season (2005 to be exact) and I just hit September 1st when the rosters expand, however I get the following message when I try to sim to the next day: "Attention: Meridianville has an illegal number of players (8)."
I searched Meridianville and its one of the A-ball affiliates of the Astros, which is not the team I am controlling (I'm controlling the Marlins). Can anyone help me fix this issue? I'm not exactly sure what I'm supposed to do since I can't control their roster. |

I would turn on ghost players and that should fix this issue. The AI probably called players up, but didn't leave themselves enough players to finish the Single A season.
That's the easiest fix I can think of. |

Thanks, but where can I find the ghost players option under the menus? I found "Fill teams with fictional players" but that didn't work.
EDIT: Okay I found it, it was "allow incomplete minor league rosters" .. it worked! Thanks! Last edited by nmigliore; 02-18-2011 at 09:07 PM. |

hahaha...I forgot the function had a real title. We always just call it ghost players. Glad you found it eventually
