Way around 10/5 rule?
Is there ever a situation where a player would waive their 10/5 rights? I have two guys on my roster that I'd like to move.

You can bet that trading a guy to a non contender or away from his home state or city is likely to fail.

^^This^^
Just realize that you have to be in commissioner mode and some game related rules can not be changed until the off season and some can only be changed in the preseason. Depending on how 'cheaty' you want to feel, you should also be able to go into commissioner mode and force a trade, regardless of the player's feeling on the matter. |
