Post Exhibition game stats added to regular season

I just purchased OOTP4 and played an exhibition game befores starting a regular season. The stats (both batting and pitching) for my pitcher are now included in his regular season stats (so for example, he has one more start than he really does). Is there any way to fix this? I noted that the batters' stats did not come into the regualr season stats.

Have you restarted the game and these still show up? If not, would you restart and let me know?

Restarting doesn't work. What is so odd is that only one player is affected. It's no big deal as only his stats are affected, but...

I ran into the same thing again last night. Previously it was the last pitcher used in exhibition before I started the season that had an extra GS.

Last night I had several position players with stats before I started the season. I restarted the game to no avail. I also poked around looking for a way to clear these stats before I started the regular season. It was just a few ABs for 4 or 5 players so I just started my season and dealt with it.

I did notice that more stats were kept the more exhibition games I played. First just one player had an extra AB. Then several more. Next season I will definately pay more attention to what I'm doing prior to having the exhibition stats retained since I was doing other stuff (trades, etc.) between games.

Several of us reported this a few weeks ago. However, resetting the season using the option in the set-up area did work for me. It erased the stats. Fortunately I had simmed the exhibition games before starting a season.

I recall seeing something like that but I wasn't sure what it would do and decided to eat the ABs.
