Capping "BUDGETS"!!!

Hi,im trying to cap small market budgets,in my solo game the small market teams budget are steadily rising.Their getting up near 80M and i certainly don't want them reaching 100M since this is unrealistic. In real-life the pirates budget(or payroll, whatevs) is 40M,and wont go OVER 60M anytime soon.I was wondering if i could cap the "Budget"of teams.

I was thinking maybe giving all teams(big and small market)a media contract of about 12M will that do it,or is their some other way or is it uncontrollable.

Along with setting their market sizes low, the media contract is the biggest thing you can do. Here's some other things you can experiment with:

- capping their stadium size
- artificially lowering their fan interest
- changing the gate revenue percentage so that the home team gets 100%
- turn off revenue sharing
- lower the owner spending rating

Lower your ticket prices. And, to clarify one of Ktulu's points, make sure your small market teams have the smallest market sizes, and that media contracts are based on market size.
