If you delete the league folder that the game saved while exiting OOTP4 and then open OOTP4 again the game crashes (when you try to open another league)?
In other words: * Play ANYNAME.lg in OOTP4 * Exit OOTP4 ... program saves league * Go to Windows Explorer and delete ANYNAME.lg folder * Launch OOTP4 ... opens without loading a league * When you then go to File / Open League the game gives you an error message. I don't have the error message at hand since my OOTP4 laptop is at home. The only fix for the problem that I found is to go back to the OOTP4 folder and create a league folder with the exact same name as the last saved league, then launch the game, change the league, etc. I hope the explanation makes sense. Thanks. |

I believe as long as you have the default car2002.lg folder in the OOTP4 folder then the game should start up fine without the "name a new folder the old league name" workaround. Your suggestion is appreciated though and a very useful tip since many users (well, like me actually
) will often delete the car2002.lg folder.

Glad I could help.
Thank you for your suggestion, since I too deleted the default league folder. |

I asked Scott about how it worked before, but he wasn't sure if the workaround was necessary. Guess I have my question answered now.

I can't recall who pointed out the importantance of the car2002.lg folder, probably IatricSB or Tiger Fan.
