Players ratings drop...
So my scout found a really good player in France or somewhere...a player with 4.5 star potential, high hitting potentials and a (supposedly) good future. His potentials for several categories were in the 80's or 90's.
I offered him a contract...he signed and was automatically put on my short season roster. When I went to find where he was, I saw his profile again and saw all his potentials went down into the 50's and 60's Is there a reason for this? Can you tell beforehand? I had gotten a scouting report literally right before I signed him, so I didn't bother to do a second... Thanks |

When using complete scouting, there are endless amount of answers for your dilemma. Nothing is concrete when using scouts. Your scouting budget (international allocation in particular) can impact how accurate your scout's evaluation of a player may be. The scout's ratings also impact how accurate his evaluation may be.
On top of that, 'talent randomness' can play a role in a ratings change. I personally think the default of 100 is a bit high, and generally play on 80. |
