Almanac Options

My understanding is that if I disable the Almanac, I will still be able to see

1. A players year-by-years stats (player history, batting & Pitching stats. etc)
2. Past champions. etc.

But I will lose the ability to see box scores and similar low level details for years gone by.

Is this correct??

Anything you are able to see now will still be there. The game does not use the Almanac as a data base for anything. It's a just an alternative way to view historical information (including more info than you can see in the regular interface).
