2010 Roster Set Underway - Page 19

Quick question: Is there any way to import players from other OOTP databases or can you only import rosters? I'm hoping to just import all the 2010 draftees into a current database I'm using.

Yep. And it is usually a good sign that his work is almost done. My guess is the roster magically pops up very soon.

Haha, patience friends. As always, real life got in the way a bit during the last few weeks but we're getting close. Will try to give more updates if that helps. Off work today and sick, so should get some good time in on it.

You do know that this roster set by cubby won't have updated transaction, it starts at the end of the season.

I don't see anything like that on page 18. He usually sets a date and any transactions after that date isn't included in the set. My question is how the heck he gets the season to start on the first of the new year.

This what he says on page 18.

Usually the plan is to release the first raw set as the start of FA, and then release updates as I go from there with updated moves. A little too time-consuming to keep two sets, but I figure that keeps both sides at least somewhat happy.

Should still be looking at a first release in very late December or early January. Should be able to knock out the majority of the work over this break, got a nice 10 days off work coming up.

Also have put together a photopack with updated photos for new signees to be released with the set.
