Delete Fictional Draft List??
What is the best way to delete a first year player draft list?
When I realized that the first year player draft list in my custom historical league was composed of fictional players, I went to the Events tab and deleted the scheduled first year player draft, but the names of the fictional players, which were published 30 days prior to the actual draft, still remain. I think I need to delete this list of fictional players, because I don't want the fictional list of names to contaminate the list of real life draft prospects I get after I export the game from OOTP 11 to OOTP 12. For the record, I don't use fictional names in my custom historical game. I use ghost players. |

Don't know if I'm understanding you guys, but you can mass delete those players. On the draft list page there are little circles on the far left. If you check all of those circles (check the very top one to select all of the players)and then right-click on the list, you should get the option to delete the selected players.

Thanks Albatross! Now if I can just figure out why I'm getting fictional players in my draft rather than real ones, I'll be set!
I have all the right boxes checked (I think). Import historical, ghost players, etc. And I've never moved my DB. |

There's a circle at the far left end of the header toolbar (to the left of "PO"). If you click it, it will check the circle next to each player in the draft pool. Then you can right click any one player and click the Delete Player option and theoretically all your draft pool players will be deleted. If you (or anyone else) are starting with the 2010 season, there are about a dozen or so real life 2010 draftees hidden in the pool (Harper, Pomeranz, Christian Colon, Cole, McGuire, Chris Sale, Ranaudo, Taillon, Brentz, Machado, Paxton- yet to sign, Whitson- did not sign, Covey- did not sign), so you might want to uncheck their circles before deleting the rest. Belated Thank You
My thanks to albatross11 and Mitch McQuick for their respective responses to my question regarding deleting an unwanted draft list.
I'm a little late in getting back to the forum, but I guess batter late than never. |

Quick question: what's the difference between a fictional player and a ghost player?
