Renamed photo files in Saved Gamed folder

I asked this before but looking at it now I still not getting it right.

So please help me.

OOTP11 seams to rename player pictures in the photos folder for each Saved Game.
Example Ramon E._Martinez.jpg in the MAIN photos folder turns into player_11316.png in the Saved Game folder.
All players are historical and photos are put in the main photo folder as in old versions. Then itīs auto copied (I think) into the Saved game photo folder, BUT in that folder itīs renamed and transformed into this PNG file.

I have checked several settings both in OOTP preferences and Setup.
I have load player picture auto
No FaceGen Auto or Photo Fit
Nothing with FaceGen initialezed

What has I forgot to TICK.

Why I am irritated on this obviously new programming trick is that when I decide to change an old photo of a player I canīt just copy him into this Saved Game folder and just replace him. Now I got to know his player ID to first delete that png-file.

Checking the programming routine I found out that every time you pick up a player in the player profile and look at him for stats or anything THEN he transformes into this new PNG-file. The old Ramon E._Martinez.jpg is gone replaced with the new png-file.

CAN I STOP THIS ???????????????????

Yep, that's the way it works now.

No, you don't. You just go to his Profile page, and use the Pictures menu at the bottom to tell OOTP what photo you want the game to use for him going forward. The game will then convert that photo to the PNG file it uses for display. You can do that as often as you like, whenever you like.
