Spritze and Gambo DBs

Hello there!

I'm probably a very dumb poor boy, but what exactly the Spritze and Gambo/Spritze databases add to the normal game?

The Lahman database list every ML player, but the Spritze/Gambo ones add minor, negro, some independent and a bunch of east asian players?

Am I wrong?

The players start their career sooner. The Lahman database use the first year they played in the major and Gambo/Spritze the year they were drafted or started their proffessional career. I can be wrong but I'm pretty sure of that (at least for the Gambo database)...
