Players Being Duplicated...

Hello all...

Quick and hopefully easy question. I'm trying the historical league thing for the first time, but I've added my own little twists to it to personalize it a bit (God I love this game). One thing I've done is add the Feeder Leagues ( I bring this up cuz I wonder if it might be the root of my problems)

I've got the game automatically imprting historical rookies, and originally I had the feeder leagues doing it too. 1st question, does this make a guy who started in 1926 show up in the feeder league system in approximately 1920?

Anyways, next question. Alot of players are being duplicated. I'm getting 2 Ty Cobbs and countless others. I thought it might be because I have both the majors and the feeders importing the rookies, so I turned it off in the Majors. Then I carefully went through and (commish mode) deleted EVERY duplicated player. I simmed a season, but several of those players were duplicated again. Any guesses where I'm going wrong?

I had a similar thing happen a while back when I was first trying to run a historical sim with full minors filled with fictionals. I can't remember the exact solution, but it boiled down to each league had its own draft enabled and each had 'use historical rookies' enabled. The minor league's drafts were bypassed for some reason and all the rookies were dumped into the free agent pool with a new copy made for every league. Seeing 5 Chief Benders on 5 different teams was my first clue.

So, I suggest looking at your draft options and how you import historical rookies. Sorry I can't be more specific as this happened some time ago.
