EURO- a C.U.B.E. League

After a month of behind-the-scenes work, the Creative Universe Baseball Experience is ready (kind of) to open its doors!

About the C.U.B.E.

The Creative Universe Baseball Experience is an entirely fictional, alternate universe that takes place during World War II. Inside the CUBE, Major League Baseball decided to suspend all baseball activity during the duration of the war. The year is 1939 and four new baseball leagues emerge from the void that was Major League Baseball. The West Coast Baseball Association, The Gulf Coast League, The Big City Baseball Alliance, and the EURO.

The CUBE Baseball Cup will be held every year at the conclusion of play of the other leagues. Four teams from each league will be selected to play in the CUBE Cup Annual Tournament. How the teams are selected—based on record, lottery, cycle—again depends on the choice of the individual Commissioners of each league. The Sweet 16 will compete in a single elimination tournament to see who the True Champion of the CUBE is.

The CUBE will be a highly active community, in which activity from its members is required. There will be a rewards-based system in which a general manager can redeem Extra Credit Points for in-game rewards and the like. Not only will news be important within individual leagues, but the entire Universe is run by The Wizard.

Trading is allowed between the 4 different major leagues, and they will all be able to compete for the same free agent crop. Each league has its own Commissioner and its own unique set of rules.

About the EURO

The EURO is an 8 team league co-founded by a Coalition of Neutral States-- Portugal, Spain, Sweden, and Ireland. Switzerland was denied entry because it surrounded on all four sides by warring states. There is significant expansion possibilities in the EURO depending on the outcome of the War and "News from the Front" has a significant, direct impact on the happenings within the league.
