Stat only leagues

Any good stat only leagues out there...I hate dealing with gms who put so much damn weight on stars when trading or not trading players!

Hard to find as most players are really intimidated by a "stats only" league. Seems they're hesitant(or don't have the confidence) to join a league where you really need to spend time going over the players and their stats, whether at the major league, minor league, or amateur level. I play the game this way in solo, and generally fiction. Playing this way, I find the game the most challenging. If I'm feeling lazy, then I will play with the stars "on" which makes it so much easier!

There was one "stats only league" I was going to join a year ago, but to no surprise, it folded.

The SOBL went inactive recently because the commish had to attend to real life. Anyone in a position to commish it would probably still find many of the GMs ready to pick up again. The league files should be available.

To do a stats only league justice does require more time to study your players.

Yeah, the recently defunct Stats Only Baseball League (SOBL) was the only one I knew of. It is a hole in the online community.

The Baseball Chronicle, has 1-10 for potential, and fielding, but not ratings. Is that what is meant by 'stats only' or do you mean every rating is turned off including potential and fielding? The league is currently in 're-boot' mode after a crash.

i have a stats only league starting new in 2010. it's on a MB and game is not required

Oh, you're the guy who wants my 5 star future HoF 3B who is batting 0.182 on a bad year for a couple of 1 star scrubs on a hot streak.

All ratings are turn off you go by the players stats from previous years

I would love a league that was fictional and simmed some say 10-15 seasons then opened up to human owners.
