ABL recruiting expansion owners

The American Baseball League is a small fourteen-team fictional baseball universe currently gearing up for its 10th season (2019).

No previous experience is necessary to join--we're willing to show new owners the ropes and help them learn the finer points of the game. The primary requirement is simply that you be enthusiastic about playing in our game. Some of the basic parameters for the league:

Current league size is 16 (two subleagues)
Sim schedule: Every day but Saturday, two weeks per sim
Playoffs: divisional winners + 1 wildcard
Minor leagues: AAA, AA, High-A, Short-A, R
Rich amateur draft experience
25 rounds conducted using owner-submitted draft lists
all players drawn from feeder leagues to allow advanced scouting
draft pick trading enabled
user-generated live coverage featuring writeups & draft grades
Highly interactive, user-friendly website
Submersive Universe
ABL Wiki features human player-generated pages for teams, star players, managers, yearly awards and more
live chat
private messaging
article commenting
forum
user-generated articles and other content
unique "reward points" system for rewarding active owners
$30,000,000 fixed media contract for each team
$100,000,000 hard salary cap
Defined procedures allow for new stadiums and team relocation

We've just finished season 3 and are still going strong. Two new teams were added via expansion draft last night, and we're currently looking for takers on both.

This is a great time to jump in--free agency begins Friday and there are plenty of trades expected to be on the horizon. We're also looking for replacement owners for Chicago and San Bernadino (both played above-.500 ball this season).

This a small but, but good league. Because of the size it allows for greater competition now and it also allows for growth in the future. We just finished up season 3, which was my first with this league and I cant wait for the FA period to start...

I have only been here for a short time and this is my first league. That being said, the comish has been helpful in getting me started and I am enjoying the competition so far.

Both expansion teams (New Orleans and Boston) still open.

We rolled out an in-house ABL Wiki tonight which adds a ton of submersiveness to the league. Players and/or followers of the ABL can now freely create & update pages for their favorite teams, players, managers and other aspects of the league. Feel free to check it out and get in touch with me if you'd like to join.

Otty, as far as western teams go, we do have the expansion LA Jets--a team that was actually quite good at 87-75 in its inaugural season. If you're interested, the team is yours.
