Reinstall or something else

I am playing a league (1977 start, with development etc…) and I’m now 8 or so games into 1978. I had a very brief unexpected power outage while playing and now any-time I try to pull-up a roster, line-up page, or pitching page, the game crashes. Even in new leagues this happens. I have been saving the game every time before I exit the program. I tried installing the last OTT patch, but I thought I may need to install the “Full” version. So my question is:
1) If I install the “full” version of that patch (exe), will that do the trick? However, will it erase my league, ball Parks, stats, uniforms and saved games?
2) If I need to reinstall, how would I do this without losing all of that information?
Thanks in advance.
-Cal

Go to your saved games folder and copy the saved game in question folder to your My Documents or Documents folder or anywhere as long as it's outside of the Out of the Park Developments folder. Do a full uninstall of the game. Install the full version of the latest update of the game. Move the saved game in question folder back into the saved games folder of your fresh install.

It could also be that something got corrupted in the saved game folder itself, in which case you could be out of luck, but try this first and see if it does the trick.

OOTP is very bad about files being corrupted during a power outage. I hope this is not the case with you but one time it create a bad sector on my HD and just "wrote" the new information to the same sector. Note: creation of bad sectors is not due to OOTP they often happen when the power goes out when the HD is trying to write something. I would suggest you scan your hard disk and look for and repair bad sectors as well. It may not be necessary but if a bad sector is not marked as bad the HD will continue to try write to that sector.

Thanks Guys, but OOTP responded to my tech-support ticket and helped me fix it. And on the weekend at that!
