your best season?

Just had my best season ever... first year after creating a fictional league, finished 107-55 (lost 10 of last 15 games of season too)

6 guys had 100+ RBI
2 guys with 43 homers

team batted .307
team OBP .392
57-24 on the road
23-6 in July
83-28 record on August 1st
scored 1111 runs
1792 hits as a team

Well, I did have a case one time where Cincinnati hit .302. And except for Adam Dunn and a guy they were platooning in CF (who hit .224 and batted 8th in a DH league) no one else hit more than 14 HRs. AND the 14 homer guy hit .355 with 102 RBIs in the the 3 hole. And except for cleanup hitting Adam Dunn (who led the NL with 51 HRs by the way). the other guys in the top 5 of the batting order hit over .300 (and 3 of those 4 were Top 5 in BA). Plus they had a DH who went down in mid-June who was hitting .310 with a .400+ OBP. It was an AI team though. They barely made the playoffs, because they simply ignored pitching.

I did have a run in one OOTP where I won 16 out of 17. To 8 gamers around one loss. A loss that was due to my relief pitchers hatred of getting outs while inherited runners were on base. (I mean, it seemed to be that way early that season and reared back that game. My relief pitchers just didnt give a crap about inherited runners. Once they cleared out them, and had only theirs to worry about, then they'd start trying.
