Cant Trade Roy Oswalt

I am trying to trade Roy Oswalt and every time i try to add him to the trade screen i get a message saying he cant be added to the trade because he may be involved in another trade and there cant be more than 10 players in one trade. He's not involved in another trade so i don't know how to make it work.

Any Suggestions?

Hmmmm, not sure. Other than maybe a no trade clause in his contract. Have you tried just shopping him and see if you get any 1 for 1 offers, and go from there?

Check your news, it may be that another team has made a trade offer that you haven't rejected yet.

Owner Drayton McLane stills believes the Astros can come back from 20 games under .500 and win the division. So he refuses to let the GM trade Oswalt. Oh wait a second this is the game not real life.

I have seen this message in quite a few versions now. No idea what causes it.

Thanks for the help everyone, i will check my messages later tonight to see if thats the case. he's a 1 star pitcher in the last year of his contract at 16 mil and he's not worth it.

also, im just in a regular mlb league and the pirates changed teams to the Austin Deluths after last year is this something that happens normally? I'm kind of new to this game so i dont know how it works.

It can happen if you have the option for leagues to evolve enabled. The DH might come and go, leagues could expand or contract, franchises move around, the size of rosters fluctuate, etc.
