Can't get people to export (FTP mode)
My owners are saying they can't export, I believe all my settings are right except I'm not 100% on the FTP mode. Right now, it's Active; Standard FTP. What should it be? I'm using Fidel's Allsimbaseball site. I figured I could get an answer quicker on here.

Can any of them export at all? If none can export, did you send out the properly configured accountsdata_gms.dat file?

There's been a lot of problems in the leagues I'm in with the acountdata file - that'll be where the problem lies I suspect

What do you mean by this? I didn't send out anything other the file itself. And no one can export.

You can find this file in: C:\Users\<USER>\Documents\Out of the Park Developments\OOTP Baseball 11\saved_games\<LEAGUENAME.LG>\settings or equivalent directory depending on what OS you are using.

Where do they go to import it?

If you just email it to them or let them download that file, all they need to do is save it to their computer. Then they launch OOTP11 and go into Online settings. There is a button there to import the file from where they saved it on their computer.

Hey Alan or anyone else in the know, I went through these steps and it seems to have alleviated the problems for everyone in my league except for one GM who is still having issues exporting....
Any ideas where the problem may be? |

Without knowing anything about their setup it is difficult to know for sure. If they want to run a ftp trace and send it to me I can look and see if I can figure out what their issue might be.

Is the going to be fixed? Why is this file simply not included in the league archive upload by the game?
It was a hassle finding the exact solution and I'm a bit nervous about what is in this file and if it is a security issue. |
