Say if I deleted all the .fg files from the /fg_files folder and re-added a new set in. Would they reset to those when I restarted OOTP?

Yes and No. If a player already has a fictional picture or a real player picture, and you set "Search for fg files first" in the preferences, it will update the picture wirh the new fg file.
But if the player already has a picture which was made from an fg file, the player will keep the old picture.

Just an FYI. I tried downloading the PC update from the ootpdevfiles dot com link and the application file I got was 0 bytes, while the one from the ootp dot s3 dot amazonaws dot com link was 32 KB. Thanks guys.

If you're having trouble downloading files of that size, we highly recommend using a download manager like Free Download Manager

Is anyone else having troubles downloading the patch on a Mac? It's telling me to 'select a previously installed version of OOTP X to patch'

Markus, you didn't mention beforehand that you had updated the player AI decision making for contract extensions during arbitration years. People might overlook that one, but it was an area that sorely needed attention. I'm looking forward to trying it out. Very cool. Thanks.

Oh I have a download manager. That is not the issue. The issue is that the update file on ootpdevfiles dot com contains 0 bytes, or at least it did when I DLed it. In other words it won't be of much use to those who want to update their game. Thanks.

And every time I run the installer, it makes a folder in my applications folder called 'Out of the Park Developments' with nothing in it except a folder called 'OOTP Baseball 11'. Do I have to uninstall and reinstall the game again? Please tell me no.

In that case, I'm just going to uninstall and reinstall using that link because the patch installer doesn't seem to work for Macs. *shrug*

Just as a heads-up, this feature is still a work-in-progress. There's already been significant strides made, though, so you can enjoy those right now. Expect more adjustments to arbitration-year contracts in the upcoming patch.

I assume this is happening to you because you are letting it install to the "default" location, but that is not where your game is actually located. Most of the time on a Mac, the installer will find the relevant file for you, but this installer doesn't work that way. You have to tell it where your existing copy of the game is.
