World Series Game 7 perfect game!

Wow - I've still got goosebumps...

I just witnessed my coolest-ever oopt moment. Game 7 of the World Series, and my ace just pitched a perfect game for the win. This is the first no hitter (let alone perfect game...let alone in the playoffs...let alone the world series...let alone the final deciding game) that i ever witnessed in ootp while playing the game out.

Time to call it a night and savor this victory.

That's brilliant! Congratulations

P.S. Which stadium set are you using? The park photo looks great.

Great stuff, congrats.

Any chance you could post a screen shot of the boxscore?

Lighthouse,

As a major lurker, I'm happy to see a Pirates team win, perfect game or no.

What interested me is that YOUR team won. I've read so many other posts where the better team, managed by the gamer, gets beaten routinely by the OOTP computer manager during the World Series. Just wondering whether that's been your experience.

Regardless, congratulations. This is a stunning accomplishment.

Shades of Don Larsen! And, as I note from the mediocre 4.60 playoff ERA after this perfecto, an out-of-the-blue performance from this guy!
