I am very excited. I have one question. It maybe too soon to wonder, but if someone like John Dewey is contributing fighters, would someone else be able to download their fighters and be compatible with any system. Lets say John posts an ESPN FNF fighter and has a mac or another system. If I have a PC, will I still be able to download his contributed FNF fighter? Just a thought, for I download a lot of fighters.

Just got FM 2010 a week ago, and since my purchase of it my carpal tunnel has gone from mild (developed due to playing OOTP and somewhat, TBCB) to pretty damn annoying.

I wonder how much of a revamping Title Bout is going to get? Will they be working from the ground up? I wouldn't mind a new interface. I'd like to see it where when you click on a fighter's name in the listing you'd instantly come to his individual page, and it would have his picture, his stats and a scrolling fight history, kind of like Boxrec. And I'd like to see the "Fog of War" option for individual fighter ratings.

I'd really like to be part of the design team, but I doubt I'd have the free time to fully participate. Maybe when I finally retire.

First off, great news Andreas. You've made a lot of us happy folks by posting this great news!

As for the development of the game itself, I would be more than willing to give up my time in any way to help, I was just wondering what sort of qualities you would be looking at in an application to help?

This truly has made my day.

More details about this new project will follow as soon as we have them. We will certainly need some help from the TBCB community. The plan is to build a "design group" soon which will discuss the game design here on this forum and probably also on a meeting in the UK. If you're interested to join the design group, please send me your application.

Let's get ready to rumble!
Andreas,

You can count on me again.

Just seen this, great stuff.

Just discovered FM2010 so TB has been on the back burner.

Looking forward to 're discovering the sim'.

I saw this thread the other day and thought it may have been an old one that someone posted at "whatever happened to...." comment on it.

Today, I decided to read it!

What good news! I have an ad for TBCB 2.5 at Welcome to The Boxing Magazine.com. A Different Kind of Boxing Web Site. and I'm looking forward to replacing it with the logo for 3.0!

I just reread this. I thought he said we'd need an Apple device the first time I read it. That's good news for the guys who will be joining the design team. If Andreas is communicating with the moderators here, has he let slip any ideas he has for the game? Remind him of the suggestions we've all contributed already.

I wonder how this news will be received by the OOTP fans?

P.S. I'm surprised there aren't seven or eight pages of posts on this news at this point.

When did they go on sale in your country, Jefe? Salesman told me I could get one in a day or two because of the waiting list.

Guy once told me never to buy the first generation of a new device. Looks like a lot of folks don't believe that.

If my carpal tunnel gets really bad, I'm suing everyone on that list of people for making the game so damn addictive!

Hi All,

I am sorry I am late introducing myself, but I am Paul and I will be working on this with Andreas. I will be starting by moving the game on the PISD layers which will allow us to play the game on WindowsPC, LinuxPC, Mac, iPone (ipod touch) and iPad.

For those of you who dont know who I am, I have been working with Andreas, Markus and the whole OOTP Baseball team since OOTP8. Before that I worked at SI on Football Manager Live (which is also built on my PISD layers). FML for the first 2-3 years of development was designed by Myself and Oliver Collyer alone. I joined SI at the start of the CM3 project as one of its core designers.

I live in the South of England, I would be interested to know if anyone else on this forum is nearby.

I hope to be starting on TBCB soon, I will keep you all updated with my progress... And no this is not a Joke!

Just above London, not too far away... Have we met? There were three Paul's at SI at the time, and if you were dealing with Miles it would most likely have been Paul Collyer you spoke to... I was an Engineer, ie I did the work, not talk about it hehehe
