More than just the run-on sentence there; if that's the only thing stopping you from understanding it, well then, good for you.

Not hard to understand if you break it down.

1) Bob Gibson won 30 and lost 0 games.
2) He had a top player named James Tallion (drafted in real life by the Pirates) released by one of his minor league teams.
3) He had two players (Guzman and Promranz) change positions to catcher.
4) His team has won one WS the last 2 years.

Thank you for that. As the Jesuits taught me many years ago, "Punctuation is your friend."

I disagree. I think he has won the World Series both times in the last 2 years.

I tried to read it the same way a fellow deaf friend would sign it, and... voila!

Since American Sign Language (not signed English, there's a huge difference between the two) is based on French grammar forms, mgom actually makes sense to me... most of the time, heh. He's from another country, am I right?

You could very well be right, if you substitute won for one (which sounds similar).

This would explain sooooooooooo much. This is the only multi-national forum I frequent. I always assume everyone is from America.

I thought mgom was from Los Angeles. I could be getting him misconfused with another poster.

I think he's either from P Rico or Orlando. He has revolutionized the English language much as James Joyce did.

It must have been a shock to you when you found out that this forum is for a baseball game developed by a German. From what I can tell, there are OOTP and baseball fans from German, GB, Japan, Korea, Spain, and a whole slew of baseball crazy and not baseball crazy countries.

I think from his various linkings with other forums that he may have something to do with Kansas City, MO.
