Revocable Waivers

Am I doing something wrong, its Aug 20th(after the trading deadline) in my game and no matter who on my 40 man roster I choose to waive to designate for assignment they're always placed on irrevocable waivers. How can I place someone on revocable waivers

The only waivers which are revocable are those asked of players put into a trade after the trading deadline.

Sending a player without options remaining to the the minors always requires irrevocable waivers.

K thanks Le Grande Orange for the quick reply but what if he's already in the minors with options and I just want him off my 40 man roster, is my understanding that ANY player taken off your 40 man roster must clear irrevocable waivers

Any time you remove a player from the 40-man roster the player must clear irrevocable waivers. Doesn't matter if he's on option to the minors at the time of the request or not. That's how it works in real life and in OOTP as well.
