changing minor league affiliation?
I have been wondering what happens when you changing a minor league team's affilation? What happens to the players on the minor league team?

As far as I recall, absolutely nothing. I think they stay with the minor league team they are on, but it has been a while since I've tested that out.

Players do not transfer, they will stay on the team that they are assigned to. IRL the players would transfer.
It can be a mess when changing affiliation if you want your players to transfer to the new team. This has to be done manually in the player editor. I would not recommend changing affiliation once the league has assigned players to that team. Last edited by SandMan; 06-04-2010 at 11:08 AM. |
