What a race today. Dario Franchitti absolutely deserved the win the way he drove the car today. I really felt bad for Tony Kanaan having to stop with four laps to go for a fuel splash after coming from 33rd to 2nd in the field. It would have been great to see him really go after Franchitti at the end.

i think that race is unwatchable with all of the commercials and wrecks. At least the best car won

This is the only auto race I ever watch. When I was a kid I have memories of listening to it on the radio with my dad. He'd be off from work and we'd listen to the race together. I remember Bill Vukovich winning the race and also being killed.

INDIANAPOLIS – Marco Andretti earned his first podium finish of the season at Sunday's Indy 500 following an extensive video review that showed three cars illegally passed the 23-year-old under caution in the race's final yards.

The unofficial results showed Andretti finished sixth behind winner Dario Franchitti. He was moved up to third more than two hours after the race when IndyCar officials ruled Alex Lloyd, Scott Dixon and Danica Patrick did not have the right to pass Andretti as the field strolled to the finish.

Alex Lloyd moved down one spot to fourth. Scott Dixon moved from fourth to fifth, and Danica Patrick dropped from fifth to sixth after the league nullified the passes they made after the caution flag came out on Lap 199.

Actually I watched her interview after the race, she was actually really happy to finish and run how she did. She made a point to point out her mistake earlier this month in throwing her crew under the bus, and how she can take getting booed for it. She was really happy with her crew's effort.

But Marco was pissed during his interview because he pointed out that he got passed under caution illegally, and he wasn't involved in the accident. He should have been third and rightfully got restored there

This is interesting. I did not see the telecast so I cannot judge how genuine this looked or whether it was more public relations damage control.

It looked genuine to me. Even her body language was relaying relief at finishing well rather than her usual (of late) defensive posture.

Considering she didn't even deserve a top 20 based on pace, she should be happy regardless.

Has anyone seen any news sources reporting the spectator injuries at the end? I think it's weird that the fence was ripped down, half of Conway's car ended up under the stands, and a couple fans needed stitches (apparently) and it doesn't seem like anyone noticed.
