Owner Expectations?

I am playing as the Marlins in a Fictional Historical league, and had my Owner give me this as season expectations. "After evaluating several factors I have come to the conclusion that you can do what ever you want, I don't expect anything" I know that I took over a terrible team, but man the owner thinks that bad of this team, I might be in some real trouble here.

So the ? is, is this team that bad that he expects to lose.

It probably means that the owner's personality is very lenient and that he is forgiving. Check your front office page and look at what it says about your owner's personality. That will explain it.

That's kind of weird. I've never seen that for an expectation and I've had both great and terrible teams.

He is very generous and Leinent, which is awesome cause this team is going to be an expansion nightmare. That's the fun of this game for me.

After turning in a decent season 70 - 92, I went out and purchased my first mercenary, Tony Zaragoza,this guy has switched teams 4 times in his 11 seasons. Now he has won the Batter of the year award 8 of those 11 seasons he has signed with my team. The new owner expectations are play over .500 ball. Could be doable with Tony Z playing centerfield. We will see.
