2010 MLB but not from quickstart

Hello there.

Is it possible to start a 2010 Major League game not using the quickstart option (I assume the big button on the main menu for starting a 2010 ML uses the same procedure of a quickstart 2010 ML game)?

I ask this because I want to use a personal version of the DB, not the one already generated in the quickstart setup.

Thanks in advance, people!

You can, but it wouldn't have real players.

Well, you can export them from a 2010 quickstart and then reimport them in the custom game.
Anyway, what I mean is a game where you can import all historic data from 1871 to 2009 during setup. I'm modding some data and I want these stats to show in my 2010 game, not the stats from the quickstart.

What good would that do? You could just play the quickstart.

History with correct franchises, adjusted stats and thinks like that.

If the quickstart has bad franchises in it why hasn't it been patched? Even if it does, why can't you fix that with five seconds in the editor? Why do you want "adjusted" stats in your history files and not real ones?
