Greetings, if by chance you are still sharing these unbelievable templates - specifically the Topps 1970 and greater, that would be fantastic. Thanks!

afcchamp88, if by chance you still have any of these templates, I would love to have as starting from scratch has been more work that I had planned for.....thanks!

If you are referring to OOTP11, this was actually carried over from a prior version before baseball cards existed in OOTP. This has nothing to do with the baseball cards within OOTP, it's ones you can create manually using photoshop.

Greetings BMW, by chance do you know if eriqjaffe or afcchamps or still active on this forum? I only ask because this thread dates back a couple of years, so if by requesting templates from users who no longer exist, I'll look to find other potenial options.....many thanks!

Or, if you have any recommendations on Topps like card templates that would be great as well.....Thx! JR

I'm actually working on a program that imports your csv files and allows you to create baseball cards that you can either print out or upload. All you have to do is input the name of the player you'd like to have a card created for, and you get a resulting card. I'd like to have the ability to have different styles (so far I just have '69 Topps and the old Piedmont Tobacco Cards). As of now, the import works, as does the player search + resulting card. Still to add:
Batch processing for multiple cards
The ability to choose which style to have rendered
Auto-zip so the entire collection is web ready.

Anyway, here is a quick screen capture:

I love the 1977 Topps baseball style, to me they were the best. I wish I could find a way to use that template in OOTP.

Love the templates, but I don't have Photoshop anymore. Lost my copy years ago.

Now, I only use Paint.Net, and doesn't seem to work. Has anyone used Paint for baseball card templates?

Here is a card I made similar to the Topps 77. It uses team colors, so each team's cards have their own colors for font and that flag looking thing at the top right. It also creates a back with the player's career numbers. This was done using the OOTP-Utils application you can download here:
www.joelinstrum.com/ootp-utils

I'm kind of suprised not more people are using this program, since it has a lot more options than the what is included with OOTP, and it has a much easier to use interface than trying to modify xml files.

Maybe people aren't aware of it, because it is far better than the game included cards and is very easy to use. BTW, is that 77 topps included in your original release, I like it but don't remember seeing it. Maybe I missed it.

Thunder, I added a bunch of templates after version, mmm, 1.06? There's also an html to image converter with it now. You could try downloading a patch, but I don't think you'll get all of the templates. I would save the cards you have made, ditch the entire installation, then re-download and re-install.

I'm still being fairly low-key about the utility until I have added a few more things. I am currently working on a text-only export of box scores (I'm being held up by figuring out how the game stores LOB data, I can't seem to figure it out).
