CTD when adding a historical player

I have never used a historical player before so all of this is new. I was able to set a historical league with little issues, but when adding a player to my other league, it CTD. It may be a bug, but i thought i would start here before going to tech support to make sure i am doing it right.

I followed all directions in the manual, so i dont know where i am having issues. I put in ID name and the year. i kept all other settings as default. When i go to generate, it CTD. Any thoughts?

Well, I thought i would set up a new league and to see if i had any more problems. I did a MLB quickstart and sucessfully imported a historical player. Now i wonder what it was about my other league that would cause issues with importing an historical player.
