Seems more like a compromise than a capitulation. Pac wants the fight to happen and he's probably realised that he'll need to "give" a little in order to make it possible.

This is a good thing. Whatever it takes to make the fight happen. It's good for the sport. It's not like this is life and death. It's boxing and both men, win or lose, should be set for life afterward as far as money goes.

I'll believe it when I see it. Manny is the most difficult fight negotiator since leonard. He says a lot of things at first and then he changes his mind. Great fighter, miserable guy to try and fight.

That's true, Manny does change his tune & then he's also said it's 50/50 he'll even fight again anyway because his mother wants him to stop.

He never had a problem getting fights before Mayweather and his family entered his life

amazing how so much hatred comes out of that family when they have never even met Manny Pacquiao face to face

If you ask me, this whole issue has NOTHING to do with testing

It has to do with Golden Boy Promotions having a VENDETTA against Pacquiao. Oscar de la Hoya still cant get over the fact that he lost Manny to Bob Arum, and Oscar has been bitter ever since

Imagine if both Floyd and Manny fought under the same promoter.

Would Floyd start demanding his own drug tests or start accusing a fighter he knows is clean of roiding up?

HELL NO. We wouldnt be talking about steroids or failed negotiations, or idiotic claims...we would be talking about the actual freakin fight.

I could see Floyd wondering about this either way. I think it was Larry Merchant who said Floyd wonders about any athlete who may be as good or better than him. The Floyd we 1st saw @ 130 is the same one we're seeing @ 147/154 but with less power as he's moved up in weight. He's been the same master boxer/defensive whiz @ any weight.

Whatever Floyd's motivation, he does bring up a good point, when's the last time we saw a fighter start his career @ 112 & move up to 147 & appear to get stronger as he moved up in weight? Maybe Manny is one of those once in a generation fighters but what he's done & the way he's done it is definitely unique.

well it turned out to be a political ploy for Pac Man to get elected. We'll see if he flip[ flops again.

Where this whole situation is seems to change by the day...and becomes more silly as well.

Bottom line is Pac should be willing to take any test 30 days out (prior to fight night). A test right after the fight.....as well as any test between 3 and 7 days out..... If he is not willing to ....that speaks volumes. Full stop. No need to continue with any silly conversations where people are wrapping themselves in circles coming up with excuses in support of Pac....

Occam's razor theory comes to mind......

Lets get this damn fight on PAC!
