crashing problem

ive played a game through and then hit the "finish day" button on a modern day sim going from 6/24 to 6/25 in the first year and the game crashes (done this 2 times).

so, uh, can this stop happening.

Try simming each game on the schedule individually and see which game might be causing the issue.

now i realized it immediately crashes after opening.

Is this a game you started before or after the latest patch?

well i downloaded the patch and it ruined my franchise

im not at a super loss that the franchise is gone, but itd be nice if markus & co. sees that this has/can happen and try to fix whatever the bug is

I had my MLB 2010 game crash on me too, and it sounds like mine crashed pretty much along the lines as yours did. I put in a ticket on this problem and was told Markus did find a problem that was causing these crashes and was able to fix it.

So, you would have had to start a new game anyway after installing the patch, so you really had no choice. The good news is that Markus did say he fixed the issue, so this shouldn't happen to you again.

I was bummed too when I lost my saved game. The best thing to do is just install the patch and start over. Before you know it you won't even remember your lost game.
