Fictional League

Hello there, newbie here
I'm starting a fictional MLB game, with some realignment and expansion.
As a matter of fact, I tried to insert a Brooklyn franchise, but got mad designing the divisions, so I introduced new teams for Albuquerque and Portland instead.
I divided teams by their last decade performances, trying to keep teams in their current divisions as much as possible.

So:
- 32 teams total, 16 teams per league
- Braves moved to NL
- NO interleague play!
- NO wild cards!

The following images show the current setup at the top, and the new one at the bottom.

AMERICAN LEAGUE:

NATIONAL LEAGUE:

What do you think?

Looks ok. I'm not sure people will agree with splitting up the Yankees and Red Sox though.

Personally I would put Atlanta in Central and keep Boston in East and move Chicago to North.

But it's your league and you can play it how you want

One objective was to separate Yankees and Red Sox

OK, I think it's time to start playing, but I have another pic

6 expansion teams, Brewers back in the AL, no interleague, 1 wild card!

Lol you sound like me. I HATE uneven divisions in baseball. In my MLB Fictional League I stick with 30 teams but I move the Houston Astros to the AL West.

Only thing that is a pain in the butt is I always get a message when I start it that you can't have even teams in sub-leagues. So I always just move them after I hit start game.

I do like your ideas though sir. Your second one is better than the first.

Albuquerque? Albuquerque? What have you got against Austin and El Paso, both of which are larger cities in the same area?

By same area you mean:
Albuquerque and Austin are only 750 miles apart.
Atlanta is closer to D.C., I want your frequent flyer mile program.
While Albuquerque and El Paso are only 270 miles apart.

I'm the same way. I like stuff even, but I haven't gotten to the point of rearranging MLB teams. I did redo the Short-A and Rookie leagues so every team has 1 Rookie and 1 Short-A.

Now, maps for a new concept!
I swear this is the last set of pics

2 expansions in AL, no franchises changing league, 32 teams total and 16 per league, 4 divisions with 4 teams each per league, no wild cards, unbalanced schedule, no interleague play!

Any suggestion for the expansion teams location (like Malleus Dei before)?

AMERICAN LEAGUE

NATIONAL LEAGUE

MAJOR LEAGUE BASEBALL

MY FINAL DECISION!
Memphis instead of Charlotte for expansion in AL East
Albuquerque expansion switch to NL West
Padres transfer to AL West
