I need big help!

Ok, I just started playing the game over the weekend and I am hooked! The problem I have is that I can't install mods, probably because I dont know where they go. I downloaded the 2010 MLB add-on from within the game and that installed on its own. But eve after downloading that I have tons of pictures that aren't real photos, etc. I would love for someone to point me in the right direction to the right mods for a fully up to date CURRENT game. I click on people like Joe Mauer and get a created pic. Thank you for all your help!

After you install the add-on from within the game, you have to start a new game for the mod to take effect.

I know, I did that. But I still get created pictures and what not. Plus I downloaded a mod that is pictures for managers, GM's, etc but I don't know where to unzip it at. I want to try and get the mods installed so I can get a game going

In game set up, you can set wether to use facegen or not, these pics will change moods, unis when traded, most love them. For photos, unzip to my documents/ootp11/photos folder

If you want photos instead of computer generated pictures of any kind, go to preferences and to the tab called FaceGen and set it to prefer photos (the last box -- don't do anything with anything else there). You may have to reboot the game. If that doesn't work find the fg_files folder and delete it (the game will re-create it, but it will be empty then). Then your game will have no choice but to give you photos.
