The representatives for Dan Kiser have recommended that he not travel outside of the states to take the fight versus McAlinden. ECG will have to search for another opponent to fight McAlinden in Northern Ireland for his European debut.

Glad to see that you were able to choose. I was going to wait til the end to do it if I had to, but would have hated the pressure. Would have hated to see one of your fighters lose with a pick that I chose. I was also thinking that I could've been vicious and chosen people like Floyd Patterson, Apollo Creed, and then you would've popped back onto the thread, after getting your computer fixed and saw that all your fighters had loses in your absence!

Sovereign Center, Reading, PA, USA. Travis Kauffman comes home to the Sovereign Center in Reading, PA, to debut in front of over 7,000 of his fans. The two knockdown rounds (10-8) allow Kauffman to take the 10-round decision.

Abraham Okine, Ghana, 1-0-0 (1) vs. Charles Udalor, Nigeria, debut

Ohene Djan Sports Stadium, Accra, Ghana. Okine is controlling the first two rounds of the fight but has been warned for two fouls already. The ref warned Okine for an intentional head-butt in the first and holding in the 2nd round. Udalor takes the 5th, probably his only round of the fight so far, but is also warned in the 6th and 7th for fouling. The referee really needs to get control of this fight. Udalor lands a thundering hook that floors Okine for the first time in his career. Okine stumbles and barely makes it up at the count of nine. There is some bad swelling around Okine’s right eye as we enter the 9th round. Okine takes a close 10th and final round as we go to the scorecards here in Ghana.

Winner: Okine
Result: (MDec10)
Cards: 96-94 Okine, 95-95, 95-94 Okine
Punch stats: Okine 269-724, 37.2% - Udalor 214-674, 31.8%
TPE: 0.25
Streak: W2

Changes to rest between fights

Please take notice of the changes in the rest time between bouts. I added two periods of rest due to length of fight. (This takes effect as you read this). The previous two fights are affected by the new changes. You can look on the info, promotional or schedule links. Thanks.

Jack Dempsey, USA, 1-0-0 (1) vs. Chubby Wright, USA, 2-2-1 (1)

Energy Solutions Arena, Salt Lake City, UT, USA. Dempsey swarming pressure and incredible work rate finally gets to Wright in the ninth round. Amazingly, Wright manages to get up and finishes the round. Dempsey continues to apply the pressure on a still-dazed Wright and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight to save Wright from any more harm. Dempsey comes home to Salt Lake City and wins his second straight in from of friends and family.

Winner: Dempsey
Result: (TKO10)
Cards: 90-79, 90-79, 89-81, all three cards in favor of Dempsey
Punch stats: Dempsey 384-909, 42.2% - Wright 96-193, 49.7%
TPE: 0.25
Streak: W2

Bob Fitzsimmons, England, 1-0-0 (1) vs. Carl ‘The Fridge’ Baker, England, 5-2-0 (4)

Goresbrook Leisure Centre, Essex, England. Baker and his management team made a dreadful mistake by believing that they could be in for a walkover tonight when they signed to fight UK Boxing Group’s, Bob Fitzsimmons. Fitzsimmons controls the entire fight up until the lightning fast ending that saw Baker counted out in the 8th.

Winner: Fitzsimmons
Result: (KO8)
Cards: 69-64, 69-64, 68-65, all three cards in favor of Fitzsimmons
Punch stats: Fitzsimmons 231-628, 36.8% - Baker 65-293, 22.2%

Billy Goat Promotions will have to wait to sign the contract for Stankovich because he needs more time to heal from the cut he suffered in his debut fight. He is next scheduled to fight in April and will have to wait to determine who his opponent will be.

New selected opponent for McAlinden is Alex Woods 0-1. If he's not available, our next choice is Dom Lydon 0-1.

Joe Bugner, England, 1-0-0 vs. Tee Jay, England, 5-2-0 (2)

Brentwood International Centre, Brentwood, Essex, England. English heavyweight prospect, Joe Bugner, picks up a nice victory over a quality opponent tonight. It was a steady performance that kept the more experienced Jay, off balance all night.

Cards: 97-93, 98-93, 99-91, all three cards in favor of Bugner
Punch stats: Bugner 260-447, 58.2% - Jay 182-806, 22.6%

Carl Gizzi, Wales, 1-0-0 vs. Gene Innocent, Wales, 1-3-0

Rydycar Leisure Centre, Mesthry Tydfil, Wales. The first four rounds are split with each fighter winning every other round. The fight is too tight right now, each round could go either way. A big point deduction to Gizzi in the 9th round for holding and hitting, could really prove to be a determining factor in a decision. Obviously, the point deduction and Bimstein’s instructions in the corner, lit a fire under Gizzi for the final round, because he came out and started to hammer away at Innocent. A body shot sends Innocent down to the canvas for a count of five, but he is able to get up and survives the round to put it in the judge’s hand. Will the knockdown and 10-8 final round be enough to offset the point deduction in the 9th?

Winner: Gizzi
Result: (UD10)
Cards: 95-93, on all three cards in favor of Gizzi
Punch stats: Gizzi 234-453, 51.7% - Innocent 143-807, 17.7%
TPE: 0.25
Streak: W2

Winner: Louis
Result: (TKO3)
Cards: 20-18, on all three cards in favor of Louis
Punch stats: Louis 134-254, 52.8% - Trafton 12-32, 37.5%
