I have a Chone player. Your version must be buggy.

Well any game that meets the very high standards of MD must be one of the greatest things ever. I agree though, this is my favorite version since the 6.5 release when I first started.

Honestly, regarding the speed, I think there may be these factors as well:

1. The installer is WAYYYY faster. So, right off the bat, you get an impression of speediness. Could it be that part of the perceived speed increase is in perception?

2. Many people have gotten new computers over the past year, while OOTP's requirements haven't changed. Therefore, in general, more people are perceiving OOTP to be fast.

Just sayin'. I think it's way faster too.

Well if Mal is happy with it that pretty much seals the deal for this version.

This game is incredible in its depth, and customization--(is this a word?.

I think back to my early days of sim baseball, with the Sega Genesis and my tablets for keeping stats, playing RBI Baseball--- this is the game I always wanted. Thanks Guys!

Nope. At least not with my experience.

Agreed...

A few q's..

Why does your cursor turn into arrows when hovering over a player on your roster?

Sometimes after moving a player from the minors to the mlb and likewise, there is the teams logo where the players picture should be, closing and then re-opening ootp fixes the issue.. it's just a bit odd.

Do you have facegen set to "on demand"?

Also make sure you're not running OOTP in safe mode. I did that by accident.

In fact, that's one reason I posed the question about mass select.
I wonder if that can be modified in the future.

agreed. This version is probably the best. Speed wise, it flies heh. Now if this version had last years skins, that would make it the best. The interface seems better, its just a little hard to look at.

This is curious. Why did you download the image if you are just redisplaying it again on a different site? You could just use your image tags to point directly to the MLB tag. There are two advantages I can see for doing this. 1) you don't have to host the images. Images are big and I'm sure MLB's image server is faster than your server. 2) Less processing on your behalf speeds up the entire site.

Sorry for butting in, you may have good reasons for what you do. It just seemed like like an overly complex solution to a realitively simple problem (displaying an image from an external site).
