Scouting question in MLB league

Hey guys,

Just wondering how I can send my scouting director to take a look at a certain country? I'm getting random reports from him right now from assorted countries and he hasn't really turned up anything decent.

I know in previous versions, I could 'Explore World', find a country I wanted to scout in, and assign a scout there. How do I do this in 11?

You can't. That type of micromanagement was (thankfully, IMO) removed in OOTP10. You have a generic scouting budget now that impacts international, amateur and big league scouting.

OK, that makes a little more sense. So finding good prospects is more or less depedent on where your scout goes/his skill?
