My first impression is that it's taking for-e-ver to import my OOTPX league, but that league does have 85 years of history so I wasn't expecting much different.

I have a standing policy to wait until the 1st patch until I download and import my main league to new versions (since the split ratings didn't convert a few versions ago). But with all the glowing reviews here, I may have to reconsider.

Absolutely loving this game. It seems to me to be light years better than OOTPX. As has already been said, it is fast, like Taledeaga fast. The new draft features are awesome, really adds to the challenge of the game. Simmed a season with my Reds and hopefully things don't follow that as we had a ton of injuries, mostly to Votto, Bruce and Leake and finished 3 games below .500. But it still is a great game! Thanks to all those invovled.

Amazing speed, dark color. So far so good. Am a little disappointed with the single game record list. Nothing for pitchers except walks and K's, and K's are listed in the accomplishments section. Also I thought someone had said the game generate realistic high school and collage stats for generated players. I'm not seeing this or was I mistaken?

Just had my first unusual play - my M's are pitching against the A's in the second game of the year - bottom of the 5th, two outs, bases loaded. Jake Fox hits a hard line drive up the middle...which hits the runner on second base, Cliff Pennington! Fox gets a single, Pennington is out, Ryan Rowland-Smith gets out of a jam in a magically lucky manner.

they seemt to have removed the dropdown in the top left for simulating. Now its only on the bottom right and only on the simulating screen?? Was so easy before, now i need to do another click every single time

Also, when you get a new email, it still default to going to the first email in your inbox, which is sometimes a year ago. So i still have to scroll all the way back to the top. Also, i thought we used to be able to go back and forward with the keyboard.

edit: nevermind, found the option for simming in the right hand corner.

I wish there was a special position for two-way players, because it seems like the AI uses them one way or the other, but not both ways at once.

Looks excellent so far =D.

I've had no problems at all as of yet (although, I must admit all I've done is simmed 5 years of a fictional league without automatic evolution on).

The one suggestion I will make is that it would be cool if we can get the college info in the player history screen (if it should be there, then it doesn't seem to work with customized schools.txt files).

Make sure you copy the files there first, and then start a new league.
When my game was installed, this directory was not created. Is there a setting for this or do I have to create manually?

Glad I'm not the only one My games are actually saving in the program files directly which I really don't want them to.

Hopefully someone has an idea of what to do.

Had a very brief amount of time with it this morning, and I'm looking forward to spending some time with the game tonight. One thing I did appreciate was that the darker skin made the game far more attractive to my eyes, so thats a nice touch.

I had a ton of directories not created on install...not sure why not...I am working to fix it now...probably going to completely jack it up!

Nice touch I noticed. Cleveland owner Jeff Wilson passed away during spring training, and was replaced by 31-year-old Buddy Wilson. I presume it's his grandson or whatever? Please don't tell me the same last name was a coincidence.

Although it would seem to take some longer term gameplay to see it pay off, I'm pleased that the team owners, dynamic league evolution, and events should add some badly needed personality to the single player experience.

You can read a lot into that statement.
