SWEET!! In 2012 there were two franchises expanded - Manhattan Blast and Phoenix Red Wings! I can't believe how much I'm going to enjoy this feature!

AWESOME AWESOME!!!

Were there already teams in those cities? NY & Phoenix? If so, did the financials for the existing teams take a hit?

The game will check this and won't add another team to a city which already has a franchise

Yes - there were two NY teams - now three. Doesn't look like they have taken a hit financially but there wasn't to much league history since the expansion happened a couple years in.

In 2018 a team in LA changed names but stayed in LA. Between 2010 - 2018 they did not win over .500. They were also losing tons of $$.

Were you given the option to deny these changes before they happened?

Looks like there could be a condition that it checks to see if the franchise count is present by using = 1 instead of greater than 0.

This feature has now made OOTP the game I have dreamt about all my life. A feature like this is what I have always wanted in a game, and combine that with all the other feautures and realism in the rest of the game and I have to wonder whether I just died and went to heaven.

I'm quick simming - not managing a team... so not sure if that's an option

Are other teams in Manhattan? Or does it say New York? Because the game may not realise that Manhattan is a part of NYC.

I assume that might be because in the game New York and Manhattan are two different places.
If it is a big deal you could always just edit the team's location right after expansion and the game won't know the better.

Yeah, for the game Brooklyn, NY and Manhattan are 3 different cities. Maybe you'll get a New Jersey one too
