Um, you should be able to, unless he's not on your team...?

Weird. I thought I had set myself to control the team. Guess not. That's embarrassing.

First impressions - wow, what a game!!! Granted, I didn't have OOTPX...
Markus et al, the custom logo feature is fantastic!!! Gone are the simple circular logos based upon the abbreviation.
One quick question: I created a custom league, but don't have logos. Is there any way to choose the type of logo I wish? Meaning, is there an easier way of choosing a fictional logo, besides randomly clicking "regenerate logo"?

You can't choose which random logo OOTP generates, but if you are going to play this league for a while, the TRUE route is to find some custom logos. It adds SO much to a league! Hop over to the Mods forum. And search for user Cephasjames. He has a TON of logos available to download!

Bug

When playing out a game, on the substitution page no statistics are displayed. About six games have been played out, so there are definitely stats available, but every column is zeros.

You probably have a wrong league scope or split selected

Thumbs up

First impressions: Fast and easier interface to navigate. Downloading, installing and licensing was a breeze. Love the new facegen features. Initially looks like another winner Markus!

I mentioned in another thread how I was a convert from another baseball game. I had played the OOTPX demo briefly and put OOTP 8 through a couple of tests. Both convinced me to pre-order XI.

To everyone involved with getting this game out including all the mod builders....thank you. This looks amazing. It's what I've always thought a game should be. I've not had a chance to really play the game, but, wow, the bells and whistles have gone above and beyond what I thought possible.

Thanks again. I'm sure my employer and wife will hate you all

I suspect rather more the wife, especially if the employer finds out!

WOO HOO!! This game is fantastic. Looks terrific.

Installed etc without a hitch. Here are my thoughts after playing through one game mostly with pitch by pitch. The only way to play!
The script and game play and sounds and detail are super. The pages etc seem to be easier to work through.

1. Wanted to use classic brown screens but my old eyes have trouble reading the stuff in the brown bars so I had to go with the dark screen.

2. Still have a problem on my new Win 7 power PC hearing most of the mitt sounds just as in v10. I'll try to work on that. The sounds add to the immersion for me.

3. Played the opening game of the 2010 season with the NYY/BRS. Great game but while playing Boston I didn't get to make one decision on running the bases. No biggie as it was a low scoring game but looking forward to see the situations when that applies.

4. Strange question. I'm planning on printing out most of the manual over the next several days. I don't suppose there would be anyway to figure out when Battists adds new stuff so that later on I can just print the new additions. Wouldn't think so. Maybe just following his thread would let me know.

THANKS MARKUS FOR A FANTASTIC BASEBALL SIM. I've bought each version through the years but it always seemed difficult and I just couldn't get into it. With my new PC and the 22" screen that has all changed. I really like all the detail and my biggest anticipation now is to play a historical replay of my fav years 1959 and 2005 with the WSox. If it has indeed improved in accuracy in that part (just pretty close) then I will be one big fan of this multi-faceted colorful immersive great looking and detailed game!!

Hrm. Unfortunately, not that I can think of. I'm not likely to change much in the next few days due to the release, but I will be making a TON of updates/improvements over the next month or so, I think... So much I want to do with that.

Installed easily, runs fast, customized easily, looks good so far except that I don't like the new interface or skins all that much and the photo backgrounds are distracting.

Love it so far and haven't even played a game yet. Trading seems to be more on point and has a little realistic flair of fleecing some GM's and not others. First two trades I made as the Athletics were Jack Cust for Dan Uggla (seemed like I took the Florida GM to school). Then I turned around and tried to deal Uggla to Colorado for Carlos Gonzalez. Well it took Uggla, Travis Buck and the A's top 1B prospect in Chris Carter to get Gonzalez back in Green and Gold. That trade stung a little bit as I didn't really want to part with Carter.

And I love that it runs quickly because I'm using somewhat of a dinosaur to play on.

You have a hit here markus

I would have to say Markus, great job and to the add on guys a big thank you. Creating a league is so easy now with all the addons. I only have one question. In the RTR there was a wooden skin, I don't think it is included.
Once again Markus a hugh thankyou. Especially now playing a Historical league the war years should be interesting with players who missed now no longer in the game, also the Hall of Fame will now seem more real with players having a waiting list....The only complaint i can see coming in the future is from my wife as i will be spending so much time with OOTP 11. Good thing i've been married 38 years.....

Go to OOTP Menu >> OOTP Preferences, then in the skin drop-down, choose "OOTP Classic". That's the woodgrain skin.

I'm having a huge problem!!

It's called work. *Sigh*

Downloaded the game this morning, imported my league from 10, and then that was all I had time to do because I had to go to work. Can't wait to get back home and start fiddling around.

May I ask this question? In 10, I deleted all of the nickname files and used an edited version of injury.txt. Will the game import these settings, or do I need to overwrite the default files?

Thanks very much, and it did seems faster this morning, but I'll know more this evening.

Thanks Markus!!
