As a matter of interest, do you get your license code in the email that gets sent out? I have the receipt saved as an image, so I do have the code, but I can't copy / paste it. (not that it matters yet because I don't have the email yet.)

No, but it contains info on how to check your license number online via the eSellerate website

I am using Ctrl-V to paste - to no effect. I did disable the firewall, still no activation.

Not that this matters, but the loadup screen is gorgeous. That is all. So far. !!!!!!!!!!!

The default skin and the classic skin are hard to read with the white background. The dark is better. Maybe using more of an off-white would help. I wish there were more skin options from the mod-guys. We seemed to have many more options back with OOTP6.

Perhaps this might help----I had to try several times to paste license number---1st copy I included the OOTP- xxxxxxxxx,didn't work.---when I cut-off the OOTP- part and just pasted the xxxxxxxxxx it worked. I know probably nothing,but just in case ,thought I'd mention it.

Are you sure you used the license key and not the setup file hash that was in the email containing the link? Your key starts with OOTP11...

I'm just mentioning it becuase I made that mistake the first time.

yeah, I'm using the key that starts with OOTP11 and it looks like this: OOTP11-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx (of couse I'm not posting my real one

Yes, the speed was amazing. I decided to run up a 30 year history before playing (I normally do 20).

So I set to autosim a reasonable 5 years to start and was shocked at how fast it was done. I went ahead and let the next 25 years rip overnight with no fears that it would hang up my machine or be stuck.

Sure enough, it was not and this morning was sitting right there on Jan. 1 2010 pretty as you please.

I've got a bug. It seems like the previous screen stays in view when you click open a new screen. It's as if the opacity is set really low. When I've got the player history open, I can still see the profile and if I look hard I can still see the transaction screen from which I started.

I'd post a ss but in order to see what I see on my monitor the image would be ginormous

Edit: It looks like this problem only exists while in Fullscreen mode.
Some other formating issues in FF exist as well...you get overlaps over the action buttons in the bottom right of the screen
