What set does everyone recommend and how can I easily get them into the game?

If you are looking for authentic jersey's reds1 collection is where to go. My uni's are more alternative.

Look at modern MLB and affiliated teams.

Where should I put these in my game files to make the game recognize them automatically?

I put them in the ballcaps/jersey folders in the game files(c:my document/ootp/). If you are just starting a new league and all the file names are correct they will pull up. If it is an existing league you should put them in the images folder(c:my document/ootp/). saved games/news/html/images) and that should work for you.
