Low Home Runs?

I know this is probably a newb question, but I have simmed several seasons in OOTP 10 and always seem to end up with seasons with a ridiculously low amount of overall home runs hit compared to real life average stats. There are usually 2-3 people in the league with 30+ HR's, tops. Is there any way to modify the AI so that HRs increase and stats correspond more closely to real life?

Are you trying to say that theres only 2-3 guys with 30+ Home Runs?

Or that there are normally 2-3 guys with 30+ home runs in real life?

Either way, if you want to boost it, go into Game Setup, League Setup, Strategy, and go down to Player Creation Modifiers and League Modifiers. Edit them to your liking (but not by too much, or stats will go all whack on you)

Before you do anything, more info is needed. What is your league set up? MLB, modern day, historical, fictional?

Next; don't change any PCM's or LTM's until you look at the actual league total output (team statistics) vs what type of league you want.

Also, look at the league totals under game setup (different than above) and check to see that the numbers are in fact correct. Perhaps the home run number got screwed up by mistake.

Last but not least, make a complete back up of the league so that you know where you started.

I mean that only a few players hit over 30 HRs in my OOTP game, not real life.

And I am playing a "2009 Major League Game."

How do you find the "league totals" information that you mentioned?

I kind of knew that. Not much I can do about real life is there?

Read my post. Key information is in bold.

If that's not clear. Click on league name, then statistics, then team statistics.

For LTotals, click on game, game set up, league set up, then strategy and scroll down.
