I'll have to let the music elitist inside me take over for a second, but Xiu Xiu is by no means weird, just the gay electronic equivalent to Bright Eyes, but I'll admit, much better.

Really? I don't think that Xiu Xiu has much in common with Bright Eyes at all, aside from the uncomfortable emotive vocal style. And it's not like Xiu Xiu is the weirdest band ever, but I don't think that it's a stretch to say that they make a lot of people feel uncomfortable.

Personally, along with baserunners making the choice to steal a base, and a coaching contract system rehab assignments are a key missing link.

I agree with the first post, not having the player get into shape after an injury or come in off the streets without playing(or spending time at a teams facilities whether Spring training or in another facility) it seems a bit weird.

I definitely hope to see rehab assignments added.

Definitely agree with you there. Xiu Xiu does make me uncomfortable.

I think option is a key point here. Some like to move along at a fast pace without the micro-management. Others like the slow deliberate real-life feel of the grinding details. I like the option for either.

Players could be given a 'Condition' score of 1 - 100% or some other number system to fit the others in the game (e.g. 1-20, 20-80) that is based on their work ethic rating. Based on their time 'out of' baseball, they will loose conditioning and also the type of injury can also effect the degrading of conditioning the player experiences.

So you might have a player land on the 15day DL that might only drop his conditioning by like 5% so he would be ready to come right back to the bigs. But an extended stay on the DL might require a rehab start of 1 or more games at a lower level of baseball just to work on mechanics.

A LOT of the big leaguers (real baseball) have to do this, remember Curt Schilling in the last few years of his career. He was down there in Pawtucket twice.

While most major stats sites omit the minors stats, its nice to see them and to know what all the player did in Baseball.

So remove the 'Rest Status' and replace it with a Condition rating or leave the rest status and add in the condition as well. For those who don't want the option it can be disabled in the league settings, but for those whom want 'a bit more' they can turn it on.

I vote for addition of this feature.
